No I didn't keep my promise to be current with this blog... the one I paid real money to attach this stupid URL to.
I'm not a very good blogger to say the least.
My brother... the perfectionist in my family is that "perfect" blogger. His blog history goes back years and years.
I'm much better than he is at taking photographs however... hence the purpose of this blog in the first place.
So I can never equal his blogging prowess. Enough said... or should I write, written about my brother.
That brings up an interesting thing.
When you write about something you wrote, should you use the word "say" instead of "wrote"?
Kind of like they "filmed" the news when they actually recorded it in a digital format on a memory card. That always bugs me for some reason.
Another thing that really bugs me is people that record videos using their phones and hold them in portrait vs landscape. Don't do it folks. You loose all sorts of visual information.
Portrait view is just that, good for taking portraits of people and things not for a full field view of.. of landscapes or street views. OK I'm done bitching about stuff right now.
I have a website. Why? I don't know. I just paid $89 to upgrade it as well to enable me to do more customization and make it look good. It's a Wordpress "blog" site. Wordpress is a blogging site too but it is mostly used for inexpensive websites by many people, companies and organizations.
I used to manage a Wordpress site for a nonprofit organization. For free of course. It was a nonprofit and that was one of my contributions.
In the past few year I have been loosing my technical skills. Probably due to old age... or just maybe lack of activity and drifting away from the day to day processes that come second nature with any task. Or probably and more likely a combination of all that.
Because of that I've felt it difficult to be creative working with Wordpress like I was able to do three years ago. So here I sit and write on this very friendly Google blogging service which is almost free since I spent some money for my very own URL with that very special .photography attribute.
